Bar Complaint Filed Against Lawyer Scolded by Judge for 'Verbal Assault'

Atlanta attorney William G. McDaniel has filed a bar complaint against James W. Smith, the Georgia lawyer who was recently scolded by a judge for remarks he made about a military gold star pin that his opposing counsel wore to honor his son killed in Iraq. Said McDaniel: "The idea of losing a 21-year-old son and then being ridiculed by a piece of slime, it made my blood boil."
